Description:
The Business Process Analyst will work as a member of the Business Process Development team to assist in the deployment and support of various business process systems, such as: Agile PLM; Oracle WMS; Oracle ASCP. This person will work with functional departments to obtain an understanding of the respective business requirements and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•This position is responsible for translating business requirements into effective and efficient solutions for diverse and complex business problems.
•This position is responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, documentation, training and implementation of projects, programs, work flows, etc.
•This person will be capable of completing the detail design phase of a project by preparing application specifications.
•Administer and support Oracle Agile and Oracle E-Business Suite Engineering module.
•Participate in Change Control Board to ensure changes have no impact to overall system and stability
•Configuration of workflows, design of forms, create reports
•Build and implement required applications to support new business requirements.
•Document and deliver technical specifications.
•Assist in driving adoption of standard out-of-box capabilities to reduce overall cost of ownership and complexity
•Ensure that proper technical alternatives have been evaluated and selected
•Develop and implement process standards and best practices
•Provide ongoing application support
Experience/Skill Requirements:
Skills/Experience:
•5+ years systems analysis experience
•3+ years PLM experience (Agile, TeamCenter, Windchill, Aras, Matrix)
•Very strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Strong communication skills including written and oral communication as well as presentation skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals
•Must be willing and able to deal with a high level of ambiguity
•Strong process focus, able to see opportunities for improvement in the business
•Broad functional knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Engineering Design Data Management processes
•Experience in translating Functional specifications into Technical designs, coding, testing and final deployment
•Knowledge of business process and PLM best practices, including:
oNew product development
oProduction release
oProduct change management
oBills of materials and routers
oProduct compliance
oDocumentation management
•Strong business process engineering project management skills, including:
oCurrent and future state business process mapping
oDocument all risks, issues and mitigation strategies that could affect the solution rollout
oEstimated resource requirements
oKnowledge of SQL and web technologies is preferred
Education/Training Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or engineering
