We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager that is able to identify, evaluate, and prioritize multiple improvement projects within the engineering department. The main object will be to streamline and improve efficiency of the development process from concept to completion. This role is key in mapping the future of the development programs, providing the tools to the development team to improve overall throughput.
•Support the engineering department in building and delivering its Continuous Improvement pipeline, at the same time helping to embed organizational enablers to continuous improvement as well as create a continuous improvement culture
•Manage a series of CI projects to completion in a virtual and onsite capacity, helping to move the projects forward while also utilizing experience and knowledge to help others see the value of the change.
•Apply continuous improvement methodologies and toolsets; generating opportunities, setting priorities, identify solutions, and track project progress
•Be a competent adviser to leadership teams on issues that are getting in the way of continuous improvement and escalate and incorporate business improvements into the relevant teams
•Further promote Continuous Improvement thinking and awareness across the organization and implement the respective Continuous Improvement behavioral change interventions
•Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in continuous improvement (CI) with lean/sigma, and with the sustainable delivery of these, which includes embedding improvement rigor, an improvement culture and organizational enablers like visual management.
•A proven track record in leading change management efforts and interventions that have a large-scale organizational impact as well as a solid understanding of process modeling.
•Strong understanding of the programmatic aspects of embedding change, as these are important to ramp up and sustain CI in a larger organization, while at the same time be able to use relationships with stakeholders and understanding of audiences to help generate change at an individual level.
•Experience as a Lean Black Belt and Kaizen Facilitation preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to distill complex information into concise, compelling and memorable messages that create a shared vision.
•Demonstrated skill teaching and coaching colleagues in both a classroom and 1:1 setting
Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
