SIG SAUER® Unveils Limited Edition P226® USPSA
EXETER, NH – SIG SAUER, Inc., the leading manufacturer of commercial, law enforcement, and military firearms, in conjunction with the USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Association), is offering, for a limited time, two SIG SAUER P226USPSA pistols with collectible serial numbers. A portion of the proceeds are to be used in promoting USPSA activities through educational and shooting sports programs. Only 250 of the special P226 pistols will bear the unique consecutive serial numbers and they are sure to become another SIG SAUER collectible. Special features of these limited edition pistols include a Dawson® fiber optic front sight and a Warren® tactical rear sight mounted on a Nitron® finished stainless steel slide. Built on a beavertail style frame with an integral rail for attaching tactical lights and lasers, the P226 USPSA is available in two finishes; an alloy anodized frame with a Nitron finished slide and nickel accents on the controls, or a natural stainless frame with a Nitron finished slide and black controls. Other features include the SRT™ (short reset trigger). Both models are chambered for 9mm, and come with one 15-round magazine.
