SIG SAUER® Introduces New Military Grade Optics

New optics platforms provide enhanced endurance with minimal weight

EXETER, NH (January 2012) — SIG SAUER introduces two new illuminated reticle weapon sights for
shooters seeking military-grade performance in a lightweight package. The MIL-GRADE Mini Red Dot
Sight and the CP2 Tactical Rifle Scope provide rugged and reliable service in the most demanding of
conditions.

“The mission critical function of illuminated sights is unquestioned,” said Jeff Creamer, SIG SAUER
Director of Product Development. “Battlefield weapon systems must endure under extreme conditions,
and these sights are built to handle that kind of use.”

The MIL-GRADE Mini Red Dot Sight, is a parallax-free, zero-magnification 4-MOA red dot sight. This
lightweight red dot sight offers long-lasting durability in a lightweight element-resistant package. Built to
withstand extreme temperatures, the nitrogen-filled body resists lens fogging and is submersible.

The 4-MOA red dot adjusts for windage and elevation. Eleven intensity settings allow the operator to set
the brightness to a level appropriate for their environment. A built-in mount secures the MIL-GRADE Mini
Red Dot to most tactical rails. An available riser allows for a lower 1/3 co-witness on AR-platform rifles
equipped with A2 height, fixed or folding iron sights, similar to those found on the SIG516®, SIG716® or
SIGM400™.

For shooters seeking more power, the CP2 Tactical Rifle Scope offers fixed, 3X magnification with
military-grade toughness. An intuitive range-finding reticle features three modes of operation (nonilluminated
black, illuminated red and illuminated green) with five brightness settings for the illuminated
reticles.

Powered by a single CR2032 battery, this lightweight rifle scope enhances the shooter’s ability to place
accurate shots quickly, without weighing down the rifle.
